Golf buddies are hard to break up. We always find a way to get together and play the game we love. In 2008, Shawn asked his core group of golfing buddies if they would like to start an annual event. The rest is history.

The group loves to play golf. We get together once a year for an event named "The Other PGA Championship". The reason for the name is because it was originally held on the weekend of the PGA Championship. The PGA Tour changed the timing of the PGA Championship but we try to hold this event early August.

Process
We rotate who hosts the event every year. All golfers travel to the hosts home town for the event. The host sets up the courses and tee times we will be playing and if possible the group stays at the hosts house.
